I have contacted customer service several times and they say it is known issue and was supposed to be resolved this week. The Toyota App is supposed to be used now to connect to the Entune head unit in my RAV4 but it has no capability to do so. You rendered the Entune App Suite unusable for over 2 weeks now with no resolution.

#ETUNES TOYOTA INSTALL#
I hope this continues to work.just make sure that you ignore the message that ask you to install the Toyota App when you launch the Entune app. See below response to a complaint I sent this week to Toyota:Īlso I have been able to get the old Entune App to function again by deleting the Toyota App from my iPhone, then deleting the Entune App and re-installing the Entune App.
I suggest that everyone call them and maybe we can get some quicker action that way. I am not very confident that it will allow the same features, but I guess we will have to wait and see. They told me an update may be available this week, but the Entune app that we have been using will no longer work and the Toyota app is supposed to allow us to connect again. As expected, they said it was system error on their end they pushed out an update before it was supposed to go out and it has disabled some users. I have the same issue as of last week and called Toyota/Entune support.

I’ve only had the car for a few months and I’m already losing all this functionality? Anyone have any info on how to fix this? I was using iHeart radio and Alexa and can’t use them anymore along with other apps. Ok, but there’s no where in the Toyota app to activate any apps for my car. But then yesterday when I opened the Entune app it said it no longer is in use and to go to the Toyota app to activate my apps. But I got used to it and got it doing what I needed. I initially wasn’t so excited about Entune as I had been in others cars who have Apple Play and that works so seamlessly.
